Description B6 plug-and-play dual brake light kit for Kawasaki KLR 650

Code DNLWHS23600K — DENALI code DNL.WHS.23600

The complete brake light setup for the Kawasaki KLR 650: two B6 pods on either side of the license plate, 1,740 lumens combined, with dedicated mounting plates and the specific wiring adapter already included in the kit.

Two lights spaced apart are easier to recognize than a single point: the rider behind you perceives the motorcycle's width and therefore its actual distance. Dual circuit — running light at 50%, brake light at 100% — six LEDs per pod, 180-degree viewing angle, IP67 rating.

Kit contents: 2× B6 brake light pods (DNLB6003), 1× wiring adapter for KLR 650 (DNLWHS22200) and 1× pair of double mounting plates for B6 modules (LAHDRL10100). The plates mount the modules on either side of the original license plate holder, which remains on the motorcycle.

If a single light is enough for you, the single-pod version is available: code DNLWHS23500K. Note, however, that it replaces the license plate holder, while this version does not.

Stated compatibility: Kawasaki KLR 650.

Why choose it

Who is it recommended for

A chi vuole il massimo di visibilità. Due moduli distanti comunicano la larghezza della moto, cosa che una luce sola non può fare.

A chi viaggia carico. Con borse o sacca sul portapacchi la coda si restringe: due luci larghe restano leggibili.

A chi vuole tenere il portatarga originale. A differenza del kit singolo, questo non lo sostituisce.

How does it work, in detail?

  • Dual brake light on the KLR 650, original license plate holder in place.
Two light sources are easier to see than one

Two light sources are easier to see than one

Two lights on either side of the license plate give those following you information that a single light cannot: the motorcycle's width, and therefore the actual distance. That's why cars have two brake lights rather than one. In total, 1,740 lumens, twelve LEDs, with a 180-degree viewing angle on each side.

The original license plate holder stays in place

The original license plate holder stays in place

Unlike the single kit, nothing is replaced here: the mounting plates attach the two modules to either side of your existing license plate holder. The wiring adapter plugs into the stock brake light connector, so the installation is reversible.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

What exactly is in the box?

Three codes: two B6 brake light pods (DNLB6003), the wiring adapter specifically for the KLR 650 (DNLWHS22200), and the double mounting plates for B6 modules (LAHDRL10100). The plates are module mounting brackets, not a replacement license plate holder.

What’s the difference compared with the single version?

The single DNLWHS23500K kit contains a license plate holder with an integrated light and replaces the license plate holder. This leaves the original license plate holder on the motorcycle and adds two modules with the plates, for 1,740 lumens instead of 870.

Does it fit the 2008 KLR 650?

The included adapter is for the 2022 generation, which has a different stop connector from the previous KLR 650E. If you have the older model, contact us before ordering.
