Motorcycle heated grip covers, 4 levels, 29–35 mm grips

It does not depend on the motorcycle model, but on the diameter of the grip you already have installed: the clamp fits diameters between 29 and 35 mm. Measure it with calipers or, if you don’t have any, wrap a tailor’s tape measure around the grip and then divide by 3.14.

No, and that’s the point of this product. The H80 wraps around the grips you already have and tightens with the clamp. No glue, no heaters to insert under the rubber, no need to remove the control pods.

The four stated levels are 38, 45, 52, and 59 °C. These are laboratory measurements taken by LOBOO with the motorcycle stationary at an ambient temperature of 5 °C.

While riding, wind and the conductivity of the grip underneath lower the actual value, and glove thickness affects how warm it feels. Use them as a reference for comparing one level with another, not as a guaranteed temperature at your hand.

They consume from 10 W at the lowest setting to 28 W at the highest, powered by the motorcycle’s 12–15 V system. This is a load that almost any electrical system can handle.

To prevent you from forgetting, there’s a vibration sensor: if the motorcycle remains stationary for five minutes, the H80 switches off automatically. However, if you already have auxiliary lights, a USB socket, and a heated vest connected to the same system, it’s worth checking the alternator’s output.

Yes. Each grip cover has its own button and heat setting: you can keep the right one warmer than the left, or turn just one off. It’s more useful than it might seem, because the throttle hand gets more wind, and on many motorcycles engine heat reaches only one side.

LOBOO’s stated rating is IP67: protection against dust and resistance to temporary immersion. For cleaning, the manual says to rinse them with water or wipe them with a damp cloth.

Yes. The cable and grip covers are separate parts with screw connectors: removing the grip covers leaves the system in place.

The manual asks you to firmly close the waterproof cap on the main cable to prevent short circuits and to store the grip covers rolled up, never folded, to avoid damaging the internal heating element. They must not be powered while rolled up.

Normally, yes—in fact, handguards and heated grip covers work well together: the former block the wind, while the latter provide warmth. However, a grip cover adds a few millimeters to the diameter, so if your handguards have a tight fit near the controls, it’s best to check the clearance before ordering.

Three connections are required: positive with a fuse, negative, and the ACC line, meaning the 12–15 V wire that is powered when the ignition is on and switches off when the ignition is off. The rectifier module is installed in line between the electrical system and the two grip covers.

The manual specifies it only for fuel-powered motorcycles with a 12–15 V direct-current electrical system. The circuit must be used only with the H80 grip covers.

The manual lists seven items: 1 heated grip cover assembly (right and left), 1 rectifier module, 2 terminals, 8 cable ties, 2 silicone cable ties, 2 M3×16 screws and 2 M3×18 screws, 1 2 mm Allen key.

The silicone cable ties are used to secure the throttle-side cable: the manual requires using the original ones, because cable damage caused by incorrect installation is not covered by the warranty.
