The LOBOO CDZ131 GPS mount is an anodized CNC-machined aluminum bracket with a 12 mm diameter, designed for the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 onward. The dual-axis design expands the usable cockpit surface: you can mount a navigator, smartphone, and accessories while maintaining a clear line of sight to the road and dashboard.

Installation is lossless: it attaches to the cockpit's original mounting points without drilling holes, cutting, or making permanent modifications. Once removed, the motorcycle returns exactly to its factory condition — a detail that matters when reselling it.

Check the version carefully: the CDZ131 is compatible exclusively with the R 1300 GS. It does not fit the R 1300 GS Adventure, which has a different cockpit. Navigator and device mounts not included.

The crossbar is mounted above the dashboard, not on the handlebars: the display is at eye level, protected from the wind, and does not turn with the steering. Heated grips, controls, and other accessories retain their space on the handlebars.

The mount is designed based on the motorcycle’s original data: it attaches to the existing mounting points with just two M6×45 screws tightened to 8 N·m and two bushings. No drilling, no modifications, and you can return to the original configuration in just a few minutes.

It is the most common diameter for clamps used with smartphone mounts, GPS navigators, and dashcams. For this item, LOBOO produces only the 12 mm version: if your mount is designed for a 22 mm handlebar, check that it also accepts 12 mm.

Machined-from-solid aluminum alloy supports, lightened with elongated cutouts and shaped to match the profile of the R 1300 GS. The entire kit weighs 187,5 g: a weight that is barely noticeable in such a high, forward position on the motorcycle.

The matte black finish is achieved through hard anodizing and sandblasting: it withstands abrasion better than paint and does not reflect sunlight into your eyes, which matters for a part mounted in front of the instrumentation.

Does it also fit the R 1300 GS Adventure?

Yes. The installation manual lists the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 and the R 1300 GS Adventure from 2024: the same code covers both.

Do I need to drill or modify the motorcycle?

No. The brackets attach to the existing mounting points above the instrumentation, reusing the original locations. The installation is completely reversible.

What is included in the package, and what tools are needed?

The complete bracket with crossbar, two bushings, two M6×45 screws, and three tools: T25 and T30 Torx keys and a hex key. Nothing else is needed. The navigation device or smartphone mount is not included.

How tight should the screws be?

8 N·m on the two M6×45 screws. The manual specifies not to fully tighten them immediately: first complete the positioning, then tighten to the indicated value and periodically recheck.

What diameter is the crossbar?

12 mm, and it is the only version produced for this part number: there is no 22 mm variant. This is the diameter accepted by most clamps for navigation devices and smartphone holders, but if yours is designed exclusively for 22 mm handlebars, it cannot be installed.

How much space do I have on the crossbar?

110 mm between the two brackets. That's enough for a single mount; mounting two devices side by side requires particularly compact clamps.

Does it cover or interfere with the original instrumentation?

No: the crossbar passes above the TFT display, which remains readable. However, with a very bulky device, it is advisable to check the viewing angle and clearance from the windshield in its lowest position.

What does lossless installation mean?

It means the mount attaches to the cockpit’s original mounting points without drilling holes, cutting, or making permanent modifications. Once removed, the motorcycle returns exactly to its factory condition—a detail that matters when it’s time to resell it.

Does it also fit the R 1300 GS Adventure?

No. The CDZ131 is compatible exclusively with the BMW R 1300 GS from 2023 onward. The R 1300 GS Adventure has a different cockpit and requires a dedicated solution: write to us and we’ll tell you about the available alternative.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
