The JP571B side frames are the motorcycle-specific part: they are installed once and remain in place even if you change the type of case over the years.

The LOBOO installation manual lists the Ducati Multistrada V4S from 2022. The distributor also indicates compatibility with the V4 Pikes Peak and V4 Rally, but these do not appear in the manufacturer's technical documentation: if you have one of these two versions, write to us before ordering and we will ask for confirmation on your behalf.

What is included

Twenty listed items: the two frame halves, the crossbar, the central plate, the bracket, four types of spacer, seven bolt sizes from M6 to M8, fourteen washers, two finishing caps, and the service tool. The only tool you need to have is a torque wrench.

Installation

Only three steps, all illustrated in the manual: the central plate under the tail section, followed by the left and right halves on the original mounting points. The manual does not specify any drilling. The torque settings are 12 N·m for the M6 bolts and 22 N·m for the M8 bolts: values specific to this part number and different from those of other LOBOO frames.

Compatible cases, not included

  • PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases — 35 liters on the left and 30 on the right, the latter shaped to clear the exhaust outlet. Black or silver.
  • WANDERER semi-rigid cases — 40+30 liters.

LOBOO aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO frames: the manufacturer's documentation excludes use on frames from other brands.

Which Multistrada models does it fit?

LOBOO’s applicable models panel lists the Ducati Multistrada V4S from 2022 onward, and the same motorcycle is the only one shown on the cover of the installation manual.

The distributor lists the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and V4 Rally as compatible, but they do not appear in the manufacturer’s technical documentation. We sell them as compatible and want to be transparent: if you have one of these two versions, write to us before ordering and we’ll request confirmation for you.

The panel also reminds you that LOBOO aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO frames, and that the frames can be installed without permanent modifications to the motorcycle.

Frame only, side set, or complete set: what does each include?

This page sells the item shown at the top left of the diagram: the side frame only, meaning the part intended for the motorcycle.

The side set adds the pair of panniers, while the three-case set also adds the top case and rear plate. These are separate products, and you can find them all on Endurrad: buying the frame first keeps your options open and means you will not have to redo the installation if you change the type of case in the future.

These frames fit the PIKE TRACKER 35+30: 35 liters on the left, 30 on the right. It’s not a cut-rate compromise; it’s the exhaust outlet. The right case has a recess that clears it, visible in the image alongside.

The alternative would be to widen both sides to equalize the volumes, ending up with a wider motorcycle just to gain five liters. This way, the profile stays compact, and the difference is noticeable in tight passages or in traffic.

The only thing to remember is the orientation: the bulkier luggage goes on the left. The same frames also support the WANDERER 40+30 semi-rigid cases.

The manufacturer's table provides the figures you need to understand how far the motorcycle will protrude and how much weight you are adding before you even fill the cases.

The 35 L left case measures 451 × 227 × 381 mm and weighs 6 kg; the 30 L right case, shaped around the exhaust, measures 451 × 227 mm at the top and 167 mm at the bottom × 381 mm and weighs 5.6 kg. That's 11.6 kg for the empty cases alone, in addition to the frame and luggage.

The external dimensions with the accessories fitted increase to 498 mm in length: that's the figure to use to determine whether the motorcycle will fit through the space where you usually keep it.

The frame follows the line of the tail section and remains behind the passenger footrest: the cases sit farther back, without encroaching on legroom.

Installation is one of the quickest in the range: just three steps, with the central plate beneath the tail section, followed by the two halves of the frame on the original mounting points. The manual does not require drilling.

The three-case configuration exists and is documented by the manufacturer: in addition to the two side cases, it includes a rear plate and top case, available in 36- or 45-liter versions.

The top-case plate is a separate item with its own code and is not included on this page. The side frame you are viewing remains the same: you can start with the side cases and complete the setup later.

The PIKE TRACKER series specifications sheet states that the cases are made of aluminum alloy and the frames of stainless steel or aluminum alloy.

This is a range-level specification, not one for the individual code: the JP571B manual does not specify which of the two materials this frame is made of, and we prefer to tell you that rather than choose one ourselves. If you need this information for a precise assessment, ask us and we will verify it with the manufacturer.

LOBOO does not specify a maximum load for this frame, so the Ducati reference remains applicable: the Multistrada owner's manual states the limit for each side case, including both the case and its contents.

On a touring motorcycle, this is the limit that is exceeded first, often without realizing it. The same practical rule applies after installation: check the fasteners again after the first 100–200 km, once the structure has settled, and before every long trip.

Does it also work on the Pikes Peak and V4 Rally?

The LOBOO manual and applicable models panel list only one configuration: the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S. Pikes Peak and V4 Rally appear in the distributor’s price list, but not in the manufacturer’s technical documentation.

We would rather tell you than make assumptions: if you have either of these two versions, contact us before ordering and we will check with the distributor. It is the quickest way to avoid a return.

Which suitcases are compatible with the JP571B frame?

The aluminum PIKE TRACKER cases, in black or silver, in the 35-liter left and 30-liter right configuration: the right case is narrower at the bottom because it has to clear the exhaust, so the sides cannot be reversed.

Alternatively, the 40+30-liter WANDERER semi-rigid cases. The cases are not included with the frame and must be purchased separately.

However, the same document specifies that LOBOO racks can be installed on the motorcycle without permanent modifications.

Are suitcases included in the price?

No: this page sells the pair of frames, which is the part dedicated to the motorcycle. The cases are chosen separately, which is why the frame is installed only once: you can change the type of case without redoing the work.

Is this page or the kit with the cases already included a better deal?

It depends on what you already have. This page is for those who already own the panniers, those who want to choose them at their leisure, or those who only need to replace the frame.
