Description BMW motorcycle key case, Smart Key, with magnetic-release lanyard
The LOBOO XHK131 case protects your BMW Smart Key with a 16 g polycarbonate (PC) shell and attaches it to a lanyard with a magnetic buckle that can be released with one hand, even while wearing gloves.
Will it fit my key?
LOBOO states that it is compatible only with one type of BMW key: the elongated hexagonal Smart Key with a silver frame, an arrow button on the front, a round button on the back, and a folding metal blade. The manufacturer does not list motorcycle models: the key’s shape is what matters, so compare it with the first panel below. For the Keyless Ride key with a silver central band, there is the XHK081 case in CNC aluminum and Kevlar.
How it is made
- Injection-molded PC shell made as a single piece, stated to resist drops and wear.
- Micro-textured matte surface: it does not retain fingerprints and provides a non-slip grip.
- Hollowed-out structure around the antenna area: according to LOBOO, the signal passes through unobstructed.
- Tool-free snap-on installation, which the manufacturer states is secure.
- 78.1 × 56.5 × 22.2 mm, black, with GS graphics on the back.
The magnetic lanyard
The LOBOO XGS06BK lanyard is made of high-strength nylon with a genuine leather end, is 510 mm long, and weighs 36 g. The Fidlock magnetic buckle detaches by pressing its lower part and lifting it from the base: the key separates from the lanyard with one hand, even while wearing gloves.
What you receive
The case and lanyard with magnetic buckle, as listed in the LOBOO manual. The BMW key is not included. Waterproofing is not specified.

Premium upgrade on my BMW GS
I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
