Description Anti-vibration cruise control for KTM 690, 950 and 990 with original handguards
The throttle stays where you leave it, and your right hand can rest. This mechanical cruise control for KTM 690, 950, and 990 models with original handguards replaces the right handlebar bar-end weight: while opening the throttle, tighten the ring with your little finger and the grip maintains the selected opening. No electronics, no wiring, and no modifications to the motorcycle.

Only compatible with the original handguards. The kit includes right and left bar-end weights designed to also reduce handlebar vibrations. Different setup from those listed? Tell us the model and year before ordering.
How it works
The knurled ring screws onto the bar-end weight and slows the rotation of the throttle grip. When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening; it is not a speed regulator: the motorcycle slows uphill, accelerates downhill, and the device does not disengage by itself when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand, even when the device is engaged.
What you receive and how to install it
The package includes: left and right Kaoko bar-end weights, friction ring, thrust washer, and a 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right bar-end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm Allen key. The manufacturer's instructions can be downloaded from the product page.
