Description LOBOO CHG862 Crash Bar for Yamaha XMAX 300 from 2023 | 304 stainless steel, Ø 22 mm, with integrated footrests
The CHG862 is LOBOO’s crash bar for the Yamaha XMAX 300, made of 304 stainless steel with a Ø 22 mm tube and a 2 mm wall thickness. It does more than just provide protection: it carries four CNC-machined aluminum alloy footrests, two per side, with non-slip rubber inserts that provide a highway-peg riding position on long stretches.
Check the year before ordering, because this kit comes in two versions. LOBOO makes one for the 2021–2022 XMAX 300 and one for the XMAX 300 from 2023 onward: the material, tube diameter, and finishes are identical, but the shape of the footrests and the bar routing differ. The one sold here is the version from 2023 onward, the only one covered by the included manual. If your XMAX is a 2021 or 2022 model, the correct kit does exist, but it is not this one: write to us and we will confirm it for you.
The package also includes two auxiliary light brackets, one per side, with a Ø 10 mm hole. The lights and wiring are not included and must be purchased separately: they appear in the product photos only to show their position. The kit is available in two finishes, sandblasted and electropolished silver or electrostatic-painted black; the finishes affect appearance only.
Installation consists of four steps, identical on both sides, and requires no drilling or modifications to the scooter’s original structure. One point to know before starting: if you decide not to install the light brackets, some components must be installed before the bar, not afterward. The manual states this explicitly.
A crash bar reduces damage from a side impact or a stationary fall, but does not eliminate it, and LOBOO does not publish load tests for this part number; therefore, no strength threshold is declared. For cleaning, the manufacturer asks that you keep the pressure washer at least one meter away and use only neutral detergents: acids and alkaline products cause irreversible damage to the surface. Endurrad is a retailer, not the manufacturer.

Artificial Intelligence comes to motorcycles: real revolution or mere marketing?
"AI-enhanced", "smart", "neural": the lexicon of artificial intelligence is now everywhere in motorcycle marketing. But how much AI is really on today's motorcycles? Between Bosch radar, machine learning, patents, and shipwrecked promises, an investigation that separates real technology from slogans — with a reliability index for each claim.
