The DialDim controller with wiring designed for the Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L: it plugs into the motorcycle's connectors without splicing and puts auxiliary light adjustment on a handlebar switch.

The knob with a multicolor illuminated ring turns on, turns off, and independently adjusts two groups of three-wire lights from a single wiring harness. The ring shows the current setting, so you can see at a glance what intensity you are using.

Kit includes: 1× universal DialDim controller (DNLWHS20500), 1× DialDim wiring harness for Africa Twin 1100 (DNLWHS20400).

Auxiliary lights not included: this is the control system.

Stated compatibility: Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L.

How does it work, in detail?

The rotary control for the CRF1100L spotlights.

Two light groups, one wiring harness

The DialDim turns two separate groups of three-wire lights on and off and adjusts their brightness from a single wiring harness. You can keep the main spotlights at full power and the auxiliary lights at half power, or vice versa, without adding a second handlebar switch.

The ring tells you how intense you are

The switch has a multicolored light ring that shows the current setting. At night, while wearing gloves, you don't have to guess where you are in the adjustment: you can see it, and that's the difference between a control you actually use and one you stop touching after a week.

The wiring is designed for the Africa Twin

This is what sets the kit apart from the universal DialDim: the DNLWHS20400 wiring harness plugs into the CRF1100L's connectors, with no Posi-Tap, no tester, and no need to find which wire is the high beam. The installation remains reversible.

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Cosa compri. Il controller e il cablaggio dedicato all'Africa Twin CRF1100L. I faretti non sono compresi: questo è il sistema che li accende e li regola.

Come si comanda. Con una ghiera da montare sul manubrio, che ha un anello luminoso multicolore. Il DialDim non legge il CANbus: i faretti non rispondono ai pulsanti originali della moto.

Verifica il modello. Il cablaggio è dichiarato per la CRF1100L. Sulla CRF1000L i connettori sono diversi.

Due gruppi separati. Il DialDim gestisce due set di luci a tre fili con accensione e regolazione indipendenti: per esempio faretti da una parte e barra o DRL dall'altra.

Posizione della ghiera. Scegli un punto raggiungibile col pollice senza lasciare la presa, e provalo con i guanti invernali prima di stringere.

L'impianto di illuminazione supplementare va installato e impiegato nel rispetto delle prescrizioni del codice della strada su numero, posizione e altezza dei proiettori ausiliari.

DENALI riconosce 5 anni di garanzia convenzionale del produttore, che si aggiunge ai 24 mesi di garanzia legale di conformità.

A chi ha già i faretti. È il pezzo che aggiunge il controllo a un impianto già montato.

A chi vuole dosare l'intensità. Con faretti DataDim la regolazione è continua, non acceso o spento.

Non a chi vuole i comandi originali. Per quello serve una centralina CANsmart, non il DialDim.

Are the spotlights included?

No. This is the control system: the DialDim and the specific wiring harness for your motorcycle. The auxiliary lights must be selected separately, and they must have three wires with DataDim technology to use the intensity adjustment.

What is the difference compared with a CANsmart control unit?

The CANsmart connects to the motorcycle's bus and puts the auxiliary lights under the original controls without adding anything to the handlebars. The DialDim does not read the CANbus: it adds its own switch, but in return it adjusts the intensity continuously and also works on motorcycles for which no dedicated CANsmart exists.

Why not get the universal DialDim?

You can, but then you have to find the connection points on the Africa Twin's electrical system yourself and wire them up. Here, the wiring is already mapped out to the motorcycle's connectors: just plug it in. The price difference covers exactly that work.
