The horn that replaces the original and doubles the volume: 113 decibels at one meter compared with approximately 100 for a typical disc horn. The tone is intentionally low-pitched—the frequency that travels best through a car's enclosed passenger compartment.

It is a single-body electromagnetic horn, draws only 5 A, and measures 82 × 86 × 63 mm: on most motorcycles, it fits in the stock horn mount and requires neither a relay nor additional wiring, provided that the original connector is a blade connector and the circuit can handle 5 A.

Check your motorcycle before ordering: DENALI states that it is incompatible with the KTM 1190 and 1290, while BMW motorcycles require the DNLWHS10100 adapter. If the horn circuit is rated for less than 5 A, wiring that draws power from the battery must be added.

Who is it recommended for

A chi vuole un miglioramento netto senza mettere mano all'impianto: scooter, naked, moto da città, e in generale chi non ha voglia di montare relè e cablaggi. È anche la scelta giusta dove lo spazio per un clacson ad aria non c'è proprio.

Se cerchi il massimo volume, i SoundBomb ad aria arrivano a 120 dB bitonali: più forti, ma richiedono relè, spazio e più lavoro. E verifica la moto: KTM 1190 e 1290 non sono compatibili, le BMW richiedono l'adattatore.

If the stock horn has blade connectors and the circuit can handle 5 A, the Mini fits in its place without a relay or additional wiring. That’s the main difference compared with the air-powered SoundBombs: installation takes minutes, not an entire afternoon.

Can it really be installed without a relay?

Yes, under two conditions: the original horn has blade connectors and the circuit can handle 5 A. Many motorcycles meet these requirements, but some do not. If the horn circuit is rated below 5 A, or if you do not know, add wiring that draws power directly from the battery and bypasses the original circuit.

Are there motorcycles it shouldn’t be installed on?

DENALI states that it is incompatible with the KTM 1190 and 1290. BMW motorcycles require the DNLWHS10100 adapter because the horn connector is different. Limitations have been reported for some recent Harley models: if you have one of these motorcycles, contact us before ordering.

Is the Mini or a 120 dB SoundBomb better?

The Mini is electromagnetic, costs less, draws 5 A instead of 20, and mounts in place of the original without a relay. The air-powered SoundBombs produce 120 dB dual-tone sound and are noticeably louder, but they require a relay, more space, and more work. If you want maximum volume, look at those; if you want a significant improvement in half an hour of work, the Mini is enough.
