Description Split dual-tone 120 dB compressed-air motorcycle horn SoundBomb

Code TTSB10100B — DENALI TT.SB.10100-B code

The split version of the SoundBomb: the compressor and horn are two separate units, connected by a 90 cm air hose included in the package. The compressor can be hidden inside the fairing or under the seat, while the horn can be mounted wherever there is space — and on sport bikes and small motorcycles, this is often the only way to have a 120-decibel horn.

120 dB measured at one metre: four times louder than a typical motorcycle horn and twice as loud as a car horn. The sound is a compressed-air dual-tone horn, so it is not only louder, but also harder to ignore.

The package includes the 30 A relay, heat-resistant air hose, and mounting hardware for both units. Compatible with CANbus systems.

If you have a BMW, you will also need the DNLWHS10100 adapter, or a CANsmart controller, which operates the horn without a relay or adapters.

Why choose it

Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

  • A two-piece air horn for motorcycles where space is always at a premium.
Two separate bodies: fits where the original doesn’t.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

Do I need anything else to install it on my motorcycle?

The 30 A relay is included and is sufficient for most motorcycles. BMWs require a dedicated adapter, part number DNLWHS10100, or a CANsmart controller, which operates the horn without a relay or adapters. Tell us the model and year, and we’ll let you know what you need.

What’s the difference compared with the compact SoundBomb?

The sound is the same, 120 dB dual-tone: the difference is the size. The compact model is a single unit measuring 137 × 116 × 86 mm, while the split model separates the compressor and horn into two pieces connected by a tube, allowing it to fit into spaces where a single unit cannot.

Isn’t 20 amps too much for the electrical system?

They are the peak current draw when you sound them, not a continuous load: a horn operates for fractions of a second. That’s why the included 30 A relay should always be used, and the connection should be made directly to the battery or through a control unit.
