It is not a motorcycle-specific accessory: it is specific to the luggage rack frame. This means it follows the motorcycle if you change it, as long as the new frame meets the two dimensions.

The manufacturer states that it is compatible with LOBOO frames from the TIBET and PIKE TRACKER series, as well as frames from other brands with an 18 mm tube.

Measure before ordering. Two measurements are needed on the luggage rack frame:

• the tube diameter, which must be 18 mm
• the internal clear height, which must be between 212 and 262 mm

The case measures 272 × 175 × 89 mm, and the clamps work on a 161 mm center-to-center distance. If you're unsure, write to us with the make, model, and installed frame: we'll check them together.

The body is made of structural engineering plastic, chosen to withstand loads and vibrations without deforming. That is why the IP66 rating holds: the seal is achieved through the shell’s structure, not by an added gasket.

The manufacturer declares an IP66 rating, achieved through the enclosure’s structural sealing. The two digits should be read separately: the first six means complete protection against dust; the second six means resistance to powerful water jets from any direction.

In practice, this covers heavy rain during highway travel, dust on an unpaved track, and splashes when crossing shallow water. It does not cover immersion: IP66 is not a submersion rating, and the case should not be kept underwater.

The lid opens only with the key. It’s the difference between leaving the motorcycle outside a café and having to keep an eye on it through the window: the tool kit is worth a few hundred euros and sits visibly on the side.

The manufacturer also allows you to match the lock to the same combination as the LOBOO aluminum cases, so you can travel with just one key. This must be requested when placing the order by providing the cases’ key number.

The box mounts flush with the frame, inside its profile. It does not widen the motorcycle, protrude, or interfere with the side cases or rear luggage rack.

The internal compartment measures 272 by 89 by 175 millimetres and is sized to accommodate the folded LOBOO BGJB03 tool bag, which measures 22 by 12 by 5 centimetres when closed. The bag is sold separately.

The bracket clamps onto the eighteen-millimeter tubes of the luggage-rack frame. Nothing is drilled or welded on the frame: if you remove the case one day, no trace remains.

The holes are drilled in the box instead, so you can choose whether to mount it on the right or left: the manual requires this, and the drill bit is included in the package together with the 3 mm Allen key.

The adjustment accommodates frames with an internal clearance height of 212 to 262 millimeters, with a clamp center-to-center distance of 161 mm. The quick-release structure detaches the box without touching the clamps when you need all the space for the luggage.

On the bottom of the box, the hole positions are already marked: you don't need to measure anything, just choose the side and drill where indicated using the included bit.

It is the only irreversible step of the installation, and it is on the box: nothing on the motorcycle is altered.

The manual provides two alternative configurations, which vary depending on how your frame is made: one uses the supplied adapter plates, while the other mounts the bracket directly with the washers.

In both cases, the manufacturer specifies not to fully tighten anything until you have completed all adjustments, and only then to apply the torque in sequence: 5 N.m to the M5 screws and 3 N.m to the M3 screws.
