Complete kit for Aprilia Tuareg 660 and Tuareg Rally 660 from 2022 onward: the pair of JP441B side frames with mounting hardware, plus the two PIKE TRACKER aluminum cases with capacities of 35 and 30 liters, in your chosen finish. One order, nothing else to match.

Why the two sides have different capacities

The right case holds 30 liters instead of 35 because it is shaped around the exhaust: this is the version LOBOO calls exhaust avoidance, with a recessed lower wall. This prevents the motorcycle from becoming wider than necessary on the hot side. The left case, without that constraint, retains its full 35-liter capacity.

How much they hold and how much they can weigh

LOBOO specifies a maximum load of 10 kg per side case. The pair weighs 11.6 kg when empty, excluding the frames: 6 kg for the left case and 5.6 kg for the right.

  • Left P35L — internal dimensions 451 x 227 x 381 mm, external dimensions 498 x 268 x 408 mm
  • Right P30R — internal dimensions 451 x 227/167 x 381 mm, external dimensions 498 x 244/208 x 408 mm

The two measurements for the right case refer to the upper and lower sections, where it is recessed for the exhaust. These dimensions are provided by the manufacturer based on manual measurements, so some tolerance should be expected.

LOBOO states that the series is water- and dust-resistant, but does not publish an IP rating: we do not report one because it is not a manufacturer-certified specification.

What is not included

The top case and its JP441W plate are sold separately. Each case has its own sensor light in the lid: the kit includes two, one for each side.

Alternatives for the same frames

The JP441B frames also accept the 40+30-liter WANDERER soft cases, if you prefer a lighter solution. However, LOBOO cases can only be mounted on LOBOO frames: they are not interchangeable with mounts from other brands.

Maintenance

Wash with a water jet held at least one meter away, use a neutral detergent, and dry immediately afterward. Avoid acidic or alkaline products. Make a note of the number stamped on the key: it is needed to make a copy.

The difference in capacity between the two sides is due to the exhaust routing: the narrower right case keeps the motorcycle compact in difficult passages.

On motorcycles that share the same chassis but differ in accessories, this is a practical advantage that reduces the risk of ordering the wrong one.

The Tuareg’s exhaust runs along the right side. The narrower pannier leaves the necessary clearance and prevents the motorcycle from becoming wider on that side.

On a middleweight designed for off-road riding, keeping the overall width down matters more than having a few extra liters of capacity.

The PIKE TRACKER cases are made of high-strength aluminum alloy, with perimeter seals and keyed locks on each case.

It is the most popular series in the LOBOO range: the same case can be mounted on more than fifteen different motorcycles by changing only the frame.

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

Il montaggio riguarda il telaio: le valigie si agganciano poi senza attrezzi. Su questa moto è l'unico caso della gamma in cui il manuale prevede uno smontaggio preliminare.

  1. Rimozione degli elementi originali indicati sul manuale, lato sinistro.
  2. Rimozione degli elementi originali, lato destro.
  3. Montaggio della metà sinistra del telaio con la traversa.
  4. Montaggio della metà destra e chiusura delle sedi libere con i due tappi in dotazione.

Coppie di serraggio: 12 N·m sulle viti M6, 20 N·m sulle M8. Nessuna foratura: il fissaggio avviene sui punti di ancoraggio originali.

Sequenza vincolante: il manuale prescrive di non serrare a fondo durante il montaggio e di serrare in sequenza a regolazioni completate. Le parti originali rimosse vanno conservate e, se rimontate, riportate alle coppie Aprilia. L'attrezzo di servizio è in confezione, la chiave dinamometrica no.

Assembly and Notes

  • The kit includes side racks and a pair of panniers: the top case and its plate are not included.
  • Respect the maximum load per side rack indicated by Aprilia in the motorcycle's owner's manual.
  • Retighten fasteners after the first 100-200 km and periodically with off-road use.
  • The load must not cover the license plate and rear lights, nor protrude beyond the limits of the Highway Code.
  • If starting from scratch: this is the most direct solution, with everything compatible in a single order.
  • If you already have JP441B frames: purchase only the panniers from the PIKE TRACKER series page.
  • If you prefer semi-rigid luggage: the same frames accept 40+30 liter WANDERER bags.

The top case and its mounting plate are not included in the kit.

Does it fit both the Tuareg 660 and the Rally 660?

Yes. LOBOO states compatibility with the Aprilia Tuareg 660 from 2022 onward and does not list the Rally trim separately, although it shares the same mounting points: Rally fitment is our own verification. If you have any doubts about your bike, send us its year and VIN.

Can I mount the panniers on the frames I already have?

No. The PIKE TRACKER mounts attach only to LOBOO frames: supports from other brands do not have the same mounting points. JP441B frames attach to the motorcycle’s designated mounting points without drilling, after removing certain original tail-section components specified in the manual.

Do the two suitcases have the same key?

The locks have removable and replaceable cylinders. Make a note of the number stamped on the key: you’ll need it if you want a copy or need to replace a cylinder.

How much wider does the motorcycle get?

The external dimensions of each suitcase, including mounted accessories, are 498 mm in length and 408 mm in height; the width is 268 mm for the left one and 244 mm for the right one at the top. The total width then depends on how far the frames extend from the motorcycle.

Do they keep water out in the rain?

LOBOO claims water and dust resistance, but does not publish an IP rating, and we will not invent one. For a long trip, the usual precaution is worthwhile: keep electronics and documents in a dry bag inside your suitcase.

How much weight can I load?

The stated limit is 10 kg per pannier. Exceeding it, with the vibrations from riding, puts stress on the frames and mounts.
