Description PIKE TRACKER Loboo Aluminum Top Case

The LOBOO PIKE TRACKER aluminum top case features a rigid alloy shell with reinforced corners and stainless steel hinges. Its water resistance is built into the structure—with a perimeter seal and overlapping rim—not dependent on a cover that must be fitted when it rains.

The quick-release mounting system on the plate lets you remove it when not needed, while the keyed lock with two included keys, plus a point for an additional padlock, keeps your belongings secure during stops in the city.

How to choose the capacity

  • P36 — one full-face helmet and your daily essentials, with a more compact profile on the tail
  • P45 — two helmets or luggage for a trip, with more weight overhanging behind the rear axle

Both are available in a black or silver finish.

The mounting plate is not included and is specific to your motorcycle: send us the model and year, and we’ll provide the correct part number.

  • Observe the maximum load on the rear rack indicated by the manufacturer: the limit includes the plate and the loaded top case.
  • The load must not cover the license plate and taillights, nor extend beyond the limits of the Highway Code.
  • Check the attachment before every departure.

It’s the difference you notice only on the day the motorcycle goes down. A plastic shell absorbs impact up to a point, then suddenly gives way and the luggage ends up on the asphalt. Aluminum alloy deforms: it absorbs the energy by changing shape, while whatever is inside stays inside.

The structure is riveted, not molded as a single piece. Corner pieces, hinges, and handles can be replaced individually: after a slide, you replace the damaged part, not the top case. The corners, which make contact first, are protected by glass-fiber-reinforced technopolymer.

The cylinder has five spring-loaded wafers and is designed to keep out water and dust: it’s the first point where a motorcycle top case gives out after a winter of salt and mud.

The key is CNC-machined and retracts into its own body when not in use. This isn’t an aesthetic flourish: a key protruding from the side of the top case is a key that digs into your leg when you get off, or scratches the paint every time you open it. Each key has an identification number stamped on it, allowing you to have a duplicate made without removing and shipping the lock.

The interior is lined with flocked fabric. There’s a precise reason for that: the helmet. A visor resting on bare aluminum, with the motorcycle vibrating for two hundred kilometers, will get scratched. Not on flocked fabric.

There’s an elastic net in the lid, included as standard on the top case and the right-side pannier. It’s where thin gloves, documents, cables, and everything else that would otherwise scatter across the bottom end up—and you only find them by emptying everything out.

With a top case mounted, the first surface a car sees in its mirror is no longer the motorcycle’s rear light: it is the side of the top case, which sits higher and farther back.

The 3M reflective strips applied to the sides work precisely there, reflecting light when the headlights of vehicles behind you hit them. This matters when exiting hairpin bends at night and in motorway traffic queues in the rain, when visibility for approaching vehicles behind you is reduced to just a few metres.

LOBOO states that water does not get in during a storm, and its construction supports this: a sealed shell, a perimeter gasket, and an overlapping rim. In practice, this means hours of heavy rain on the motorway without finding the gear inside wet.

What LOBOO does not claim is a certified IP rating, and we will not make one up. This top case is designed for rain, splashes, and mud; it is not a watertight container for submersion. If you put a DSLR or laptop inside, the waterproof inner bag is still the right choice. Over time, watertightness depends on the condition of the gasket, which should be kept clean and inspected, as with any rubber seal.

Is a dedicated mounting plate required to install it?

Yes. The top case attaches to a compatible LOBOO mounting plate, which is a separate item specific to your motorcycle. At Endurrad, you can find mounting plates for BMW, KTM, Honda, Husqvarna, Ducati, KOVE, and others: send us your model and year, and we’ll tell you the correct part number.

Is the 36-liter or 45-liter version better?

The P36 is enough for a full-face helmet and the essentials for the day, while remaining more compact on the rear. The P45 accommodates two helmets or the luggage for a trip, but increases the bulk and weight overhanging behind the rear axle, which is noticeable during stationary maneuvers.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.

Can I return the product if it isn’t suitable?

Yes, you are entitled to return the item within 14 days of delivery under online purchase regulations. The product must be intact and in its original packaging: contact us and we’ll guide you through the process.
