FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

What exactly is it used for?

For connecting the T3 pods to the motorcycle’s original wiring without cutting or splicing wires: it connects inline to the factory connector. This is the specific pair of adapters for that model’s connector, not a universal wiring harness.

Is it also needed if I control the T3s from a CANsmart controller?

No: in that case, the pods connect to the control unit using the dedicated CANsmart adapter, part number DNLWHS13400. This adapter is used when the T3s operate directly on the motorcycle’s original wiring system, without a control unit.
