Everything you need to know before ordering

Technical specifications, equipment, delivery, and warranty: below you’ll find every detail verified against the official DENALI documentation.

Description Plug-and-play adapter for connecting T3s to the CANsmart DNLWHS13400

Code DNLWHS13400 — DENALI code DNL.WHS.13400

The adapter that connects the T3 pods to the CANsmart GEN II controller: it plugs directly into the controller's circuits, with no splicing into the original wiring and no additional handlebar switches. From there, the daytime running lights and turn signals are controlled using the motorcycle's standard buttons and configured through the software.

It is designed for four pods — two front and two rear — but can also be configured for only the front or rear pair. Compatible with all CANsmart GEN II controllers; DENALI reports that it is incompatible with the KTM 790 Adventure.

A note about the rear pods: when powered only by the CANsmart, the red running light remains on between turn-signal flashes. If you prefer it to switch off, connect the red-light wires to a switched power source on the motorcycle and set the controller circuit to brake-only.

If you do not have a controller, you do not need this adapter: the standalone solution is the wiring harness with waterproof switch, code DNLWHS13500.

Why choose it

  • Gestisce fino a quattro pod, anteriori e posteriori.
  • Nessuna derivazione sull'impianto originale.
  • Compatibile con tutte le CANsmart GEN II.
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

  • Bring the T3 power and ground connections to the motorcycle’s original controls, without splices.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

How many pods can it handle?

It is designed for four T3 pods—two front and two rear—but it can also be configured for just the front pair or just the rear pair. Therefore, one adapter is sufficient for the complete setup.

Why does the position light stay on while the turn signal is flashing?

It happens with the rear pods powered only by the CANsmart, and it is an inevitable consequence of that type of connection. If you prefer the running light to turn off while the turn signal is flashing, connect the red light wires directly to a switched power source on the motorcycle and set the controller circuit to brake light only.

Does it fit all motorcycles?

It is compatible with all CANsmart GEN II control units. However, DENALI indicates that it is incompatible with the KTM 790 Adventure: that motorcycle requires a different connection.
