Frequently asked questions

Why are there three identical fender extensions?

They're the same part in three finishes: black, transparent, and the version with the Endurrad logo. Only the appearance changes, not the fitment.

Can I still find pannier racks for the 990?

They're now rare because the motorcycle has been out of production since 2013. The semi-rigid panniers with strap mounting solve the problem without having to search for hard-to-find parts.

Do the 1190 accessories fit the 990?

No. Although the engine belongs to the same LC8 family, the frame and bodywork are completely different: the 1190's skid plate is listed for the 1050 and 1090, not the 990.

Is it still worth buying?

If you're looking for a mechanical, repairable maxi enduro without electronics, yes. The limitation today isn't the motorcycle but the availability of dedicated accessories, which needs to be taken into account.

Which tank bag is used with the side tanks?

A small size, 2.5-3.5 liters. The space in front of the seat is limited compared with a motorcycle with a traditional tank.
