Do not confuse it with the adapters

If you are installing the BHG-010 handguard kit on one of these BMWs, you may need a different item: the B-062 adapters, required on versions without heated grips. This is a handlebar riser kit, which the manufacturer does not present as a mandatory accessory for the handguards.
