Come funziona

La ghiera zigrinata si avvita sul contrappeso e preme contro la manopola del gas. Stretta, tiene l'acceleratore all'apertura scelta; allentata, la manopola torna libera e si richiude da sola. Il gas si apre e si chiude sempre con la mano, anche a dispositivo inserito.

Trova il codice giusto

Ogni codice vale per modelli e anni precisi. Controlla anche l'allestimento del manubrio: paramani originali, Barkbusters, senza paramani, manopole riscaldate o specchietti a fine manubrio possono richiedere codici diversi. In ogni scheda trovi la tabella di compatibilità completa.

Montaggio

Si toglie il contrappeso destro originale e si monta quello Kaoko, di solito con la vite centrale della moto. La resistenza della ghiera si tara con la chiave a brugola inclusa. Nessuna foratura e nessun cablaggio.

Blocca il gas, non la velocità. In salita la moto rallenta, in discesa accelera, e il dispositivo non si disinserisce da solo quando freni. Usalo nei tratti a velocità costante, quando la strada lo consente.

The throttle stays where you leave it, and your right hand can rest. Kaoko mechanical cruise controls replace the right handlebar bar-end weight: while you open the throttle, tighten the ring with your little finger and the throttle maintains the selected position. No electronics, no wiring, and no modifications to the motorcycle.

  • Resting hand: during constant-speed journeys, your wrist and forearm no longer have to hold the throttle open.
  • More stable throttle off-road: on uneven dirt surfaces, it reduces unintentional throttle openings caused by impacts.
  • Always under control: the ring adds resistance to the grip but does not lock it; you can still open and close the throttle with your hand.
