Triumph Tiger 1200 and Explorer accessories
Accessories for Triumph Tiger 1200 and Tiger Explorer
There are two different bikes under this name. The Tiger Explorer 1200 from 2012-2021, with shaft drive and a 1,215 cc three-cylinder engine, and the Tiger 1200 from 2022 onward, a new design with a T-plane engine and twenty-five fewer kilos. Almost no part number carries over from one to the other: you need the year before ordering, not just the model.
For the generation from 2022 onward, you will find the CANsmart control unit, also listed for the Tiger 900, the DL4 auxiliary light kit with collars, non-slip stickers for the GT, GT Pro, Rally Pro and GT Explorer, and protective film for the GT. The luggage and ergonomics - frames for symmetrical 37+37 L panniers, aluminum panniers, kickstand plate, 25 mm risers and navigation mount - are dedicated to the GT Pro from 2023 onward.
For the Explorer, handguards, auxiliary light mounts for the 2016-2021 XCa, SoundBomb horn mount, tank stickers and two Kaoko mechanical cruise controls remain available; the choice depends on whether the original handguards are fitted.
There are four handguard kits in total, and they vary by year and trim level. Crash bars and a skid plate are not listed for either generation.
To find out which part number your bike needs, see the Triumph Tiger 1200 and Explorer page with the generation-by-generation table.
