Ducati Multistrada V4 S / Pikes Peak / V4 Rally side case frames

The LOBOO manual and applicable models panel list only one configuration: the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S. Pikes Peak and V4 Rally appear in the distributor’s price list, but not in the manufacturer’s technical documentation.

We would rather tell you than make assumptions: if you have either of these two versions, contact us before ordering and we will check with the distributor. It is the quickest way to avoid a return.

The aluminum PIKE TRACKER cases, in black or silver, in the 35-liter left and 30-liter right configuration: the right case is narrower at the bottom because it has to clear the exhaust, so the sides cannot be reversed.

Alternatively, the 40+30-liter WANDERER semi-rigid cases. The cases are not included with the frame and must be purchased separately.

The 35-liter PIKE TRACKER cases measure 451 × 227 × 381 mm and weigh 6 kg; the 30-liter right-hand case, shaped to clear the exhaust, measures 451 × 227 mm at the top and 167 mm at the bottom × 381 mm and weighs 5.6 kg.

With the handles and hardware installed, the external length increases to 498 mm. That is 11.6 kg for the empty cases alone: useful information for understanding whether the motorcycle can fit where you usually keep it and how much weight you are adding before loading anything.

No, and the opposite is also true. LOBOO’s documentation is explicit: LOBOO aluminum cases can only be mounted on LOBOO racks and are not compatible with racks from other brands.

However, the same document specifies that LOBOO racks can be installed on the motorcycle without permanent modifications.

No: this page sells the pair of frames, which is the part dedicated to the motorcycle. The cases are chosen separately, which is why the frame is installed only once: you can change the type of case without redoing the work.

It depends on what you already have. This page is for those who already own the panniers, those who want to choose them at their leisure, or those who only need to replace the frame.

If you’re starting from scratch, the kit page offers frames and panniers already matched in the correct combination, so you don’t have to cross-reference the codes. The frame is the same in both cases.

Yes, and it is a configuration provided by the manufacturer: a rear rack plate and a 36- or 45-liter top case are added to the two side panniers.

However, the rack plate has its own product code and is not included on this page. The side frame remains the same, so you can start with just the side panniers and complete the setup later without having to redo anything.

Three, all photographed in the manual: first secure the central plate under the tail section, then the left half of the frame, and finally the right half. It is one of the shortest installations in the range.

The manual does not specify any drilling: the frame is attached to the existing mounting points. However, it requires all parts and fasteners removed from the motorcycle to be reinstalled according to Ducati’s torque specifications and instructions.

The manual specifies 12 N·m for the M6 screws and 22 N·m for the M8 screws. These values are specific to this code and differ from those of other LOBOO frames, so it is best to check the manual rather than rely on memory.

A torque wrench is required, but it is not included.

Yes. The bill of materials lists twenty items: the two halves of the frame, the crossbar, the plate, the bracket, four types of spacer, seven screw sizes ranging from M6 to M8, fourteen washers, two finishing caps, and the service tool.

The only tool you need to have is a torque wrench.

They close off the mounting points left unused on the motorcycle after the frame is installed, preventing open holes from being exposed to water and dirt. There are two, Ø20 mm, as specified in the bill of materials.

The frame manual does not specify a load limit. The LOBOO aluminum luggage manual does, recommending that no more than 10 kg be loaded in each side case and 5 kg in the top case.

The stated reason is vibration while riding: this is a usage limit, not a breaking load. In any case, the motorcycle manufacturer's maximum total load specified in the registration document must also be observed.
