Description Kickstand plate for Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro from 2023 | aluminum and 304 stainless steel, 171 g

The LOBOO CJC921 side stand foot plate enlarges the footprint of the side stand on the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro from 2023: when parked, the motorcycle's weight is distributed over a much larger area instead of the few square centimeters of the original foot.

Mixed construction, for good reason

The base that rests on the ground is made of high-strength aluminum alloy to keep weight down. The cover that clamps over the original foot is made of 304 stainless steel, where mechanical strength and rust resistance are needed. Both pieces are CNC-machined, which LOBOO identifies as the reason for the precise finish and hole positioning. Declared total weight: 171 g.

Anti-slip grooves are machined into the sides and bottom of the base to prevent lateral sliding on sloped surfaces: widening the footprint without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

Installs over the original foot

The original side stand foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and cover, which are tightened with three M5×14 screws. No drilling, no permanent modifications, and if you sell the motorcycle, you can return it to its original condition in just a few minutes. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle's original data.

What the manual specifies

  • Included: base, cover, 3 M5×14 screws, 3 mm Allen key, single-use threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 5 N·m for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make all adjustments first, then tighten the screws in sequence
  • Periodically check the fastening screws
  • Manual in eight languages included in the package

The dimensions are not specified by the manufacturer, which publishes only a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm and warns that the measurements are taken by hand.

On a fully loaded Tiger 1200, the margin when parked becomes quite narrow: with panniers, it is a motorcycle weighing a good 250 kg, and the original foot concentrates all the weight on a small surface. The usual rule applies here too: the plate reduces the risk of sinking, but does not eliminate it.

For other models, see all side stand foot plates.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

The kickstand foot, extended

The kickstand foot, extended

The foot of the Tiger 1200’s standard stand rests on just a few square centimeters. The CJC921 plate enlarges that surface and distributes the motorcycle’s weight over a much larger area.

It’s the same principle as the plates you carry with you on trips, except this one stays mounted on the motorcycle and can’t be forgotten at home.

Aluminum base, 304 stainless steel cover

Aluminum base, 304 stainless steel cover

Hybrid construction, and it’s a deliberate choice: the base that rests on the ground is made of high-strength aluminum alloy to keep the weight down; the cover that clamps onto the original foot is made of 304 stainless steel, where mechanical strength and rust resistance are essential.

Both parts are CNC-machined, and LOBOO cites computer numerical control machining as the reason for the finish and the precise positioning of the holes: these are the holes that must align with the shape of the original foot.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

The original kickstand foot does not need to be removed. Position the base underneath, place the stainless-steel cover on top, and use three M5×14 screws to clamp them together around the stock foot.

No drilling or permanent modifications: if you sell the motorcycle, you can restore it to its original condition in just a few minutes. LOBOO states that it developed the shape using the vehicle’s original data.

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

The grooves are formed along the sides and bottom of the base, and they prevent lateral slipping.

On gravel, wet grass, or sloping concrete, a wide but smooth surface tends to slide: widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

Before and after, on the same plot of land

Before and after, on the same plot of land

The two manufacturer photos show the same stand on the same loose soil: without the plate, the foot cuts into the ground and sinks; with the plate, it stays on the surface.

This is the use case the plate was designed for: parking on compacted earth, gravel, grass, and asphalt softened by the summer sun.

The figures stated by the manufacturer

The figures stated by the manufacturer

The LOBOO specification sheet states an aluminum alloy base, a 304 stainless steel cover, CNC machining, and a weight of 171 g. It is the heaviest plate in the range, consistent with the size of the Tiger 1200.

The dimensions are not specified: the manual only provides a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm. If you need the exact overall dimensions, contact us and we will verify them before ordering.

Included in the package: M5×14 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker

Included in the package: M5×14 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and threadlocker

The box contains the base, the cover, three M5×14 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use packet of threadlocker. Nothing else is needed.

Torque specified in the manual: 5 N·m on all three screws. The manual recommends not fully tightening them immediately, adjusting the position first, then tightening them in sequence, and periodically rechecking the screws.

Why it matters more on a Tiger 1200 than anywhere else

Why it matters more on a Tiger 1200 than anywhere else

With luggage and a passenger, a Tiger 1200 weighs well over 250 kg when stationary, and all that weight rests on a kickstand foot the size of a matchbox.

It’s not just a matter of fairings: lifting a bike of that size off the ground alone, on soft terrain, is anything but straightforward. That’s why this plate’s 171 g make it the heaviest in the range.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is it compatible with my Tiger 1200?

The LOBOO installation manual and parameter sheet specify only one version: the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro from 2023 onward, with the window open.

As always, before purchasing, it is advisable to check your motorcycle’s year and equipment. If you have any doubts, write to us.

Does it also work on the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro or the GT Explorer?

LOBOO only states the GT Pro. It does not say that the other versions are compatible or that they are not; it simply does not mention them.

On the Tiger 1200 range, the kickstand foot may vary between road and Rally configurations, so we cannot confidently guarantee compatibility by ear. If you have a Rally Pro, GT Explorer, or Rally Explorer, send us a photo of the kickstand foot and we will verify it with the distributor before you place your order.

Do I need to remove the foot of the original kickstand?

No. The standard stand stays in place, enclosed between the base and the plate cover, which are tightened with three screws. LOBOO describes it as a non-destructive installation: no drilling and no permanent modifications, and it can be returned to its original state in just a few minutes if the vehicle is resold.

What tool is needed, and what torque should the screws be tightened to?

A 3 mm Allen key, included in the package together with the three M5×14 screws and a single-use dose of threadlocker. The torque specified in the manual is 5 N·m for all three screws.

The manual instructs you not to fully tighten them immediately: first adjust the position, then tighten them in sequence, and check the screws periodically.

What’s in the package?

The manual lists five items: the support base, the top cover, three M5×14 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use packet of threadlocker. The box also contains the assembly manual in eight languages.

What material is it made of?

It has a mixed construction: a high-strength aluminum alloy base and a 304 stainless steel top cover, both CNC-machined. This is what the manufacturer’s specifications sheet states.

LOBOO does not disclose the aluminum alloy designation, so we do not report it.

How much does it weigh, and how big is it?

The manufacturer states 171 g. It is the heaviest in the LOBOO center-stand plate range, consistent with the size of the Tiger 1200.

The dimensions are not specified: the manual only includes a reference ruler from 0 to 8 cm, and LOBOO warns that the measurements are taken by hand. If you need the exact dimensions, write to us.

Do anti-slip grooves really work?

They are needed for something other than sinking: lateral sliding. A wide but smooth plate distributes weight well, but on gravel, wet grass, or sloping concrete, it can slip.

LOBOO adds grooves to the sides and bottom of the base specifically to grip the supporting surface.

Change the parked motorcycle's lean angle?

A little, yes, and the manufacturer says so openly: by adding thickness under the foot, the contact point is raised slightly and the motorcycle remains a touch more upright.

On a heavy, loaded motorcycle, LOBOO considers this an advantage because it makes it easier to lift the bike upright from the stand. The change is minimal and remains within normal parking angles.

Is it an original LOBOO product?

Yes: we sell exclusively genuine, brand-new LOBOO products in the manufacturer’s original packaging, with the assembly manual included in eight languages.

How is shipping handled, and can I return it?

Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, it is free for orders over 250 euros.

You have 14 days from receipt of the last item in your order to request a return, in accordance with the conditions in the returns and refunds policy. The product must be returned intact and in its original packaging.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
