Description Kickstand plate for Honda CB500X, CB500F, CB400X, CB400F, NX400, NX500 and CB500 Super Four

The LOBOO CJC292 side stand plate widens the side stand foot and distributes the motorcycle's weight over a much larger area instead of the few square centimetres of the standard foot.

Seven Honda motorcycles with one code

The installation manual lists CB500X and CB500F from 2019, CB400X and CB400F from 2021, NX400 and NX500 from 2024, CB500 Super Four from 2026. It is the most widely compatible plate in the range: Honda's mid-sized twin-cylinder family shares the same side stand foot.

Contact area: +130%

That is the figure stated by the manufacturer, and it is the only number that really matters for an accessory like this: the same motorcycle weight distributed over more than twice the area means much lower pressure per square centimetre, below the threshold at which most real surfaces give way.

CNC machining and anti-slip grooves

LOBOO identifies CNC machining as the reason for the finish and the precise positioning of the holes. The anti-slip grooves are cut into the sides and bottom of the base to prevent sideways sliding on sloping surfaces: widening the contact area without adding grip would solve only half the problem.

What the manual states

  • Parts list: base, cover, 3 M5×10 screws, 3 mm Allen key, single-dose threadlocker
  • Tightening torque: 4 N·m for all three screws
  • Do not fully tighten immediately: make all adjustments first, then tighten fully in sequence
  • Periodically check the fastening screws
  • Manual in eight languages included in the package

The standard side stand foot does not need to be removed: it remains enclosed between the base and cover. No drilling, no permanent modifications, and if you sell the motorcycle, you can return it to its original configuration in just a few minutes.

For this code, the manufacturer does not state the material, weight or dimensions: there is no specifications sheet like those available for the other codes in the range. We prefer to say so rather than estimate.

The plate reduces the risk of sinking but does not eliminate it: assessing the surface where you park remains your responsibility.

For other models, see all side stand plates.

Why choose it
Who is it recommended for

Documents and manufacturer

How does it work, in detail?

The kickstand foot, extended

The kickstand foot, extended

The standard kickstand foot rests on just a few square centimeters. The CJC292 plate expands that surface and distributes the motorcycle’s weight over a much larger area.

It’s the same principle as the small plates you take with you when traveling, except that this one stays mounted on the motorcycle and can’t be left at home.

Support surface: +130%

Support surface: +130%

The area in orange in the image is the original foot; everything else is what the plate adds. The manufacturer quantifies the increase at 130%.

It is the only code in the range for which LOBOO publishes a performance figure, and it is the figure that really matters: the same discharged mass over a more than doubled surface area means a much lower pressure per square centimeter, below the threshold at which most real grounds give way.

If you have a CB650R or CB650F, ask us to confirm before ordering: the manufacturer’s sources don’t agree, and we prefer to verify.

CNC machining

CNC machining

LOBOO identifies CNC machining as the reason for the surface finish and the precise positioning of the holes.

These are the holes that must match the original foot's profile: being even one-tenth out of place is immediately noticeable during assembly, and on a part that must clamp around the stand, this matters more than the aesthetic finish.

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

Non-slip grooves on the sides and bottom

The grooves are formed along the sides and bottom of the base, and they prevent lateral slipping.

On gravel, wet grass, or sloping concrete, a wide but smooth surface tends to slide: widening the support without providing grip would solve only half the problem.

Four N·m, not five

Four N·m, not five

The box contains the base, cover, three M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use packet of threadlocker. Nothing else is needed.

The torque specified in the manual is 4 N·m, not the 5 used for most other LOBOO codes. If you have already installed a plate from the range on another motorcycle, don't rely on memory: this one is tightened less.

It mounts on the original foot without drilling.

The original kickstand foot does not come off: it remains enclosed between the base and the cover, which clamp around it with three screws.

No drilling and no permanent modifications: if you sell the motorcycle, you can return it to its original condition in just a few minutes.

What the manufacturer doesn’t disclose

What the manufacturer doesn’t disclose

For this LOBOO code, no specifications sheet is published: neither the material, weight, nor dimensions are provided. Those details are available for the other codes in the range and we publish them; here they are not, and we prefer to say so rather than estimate them.

If you need them before ordering, write to us: we’ll request them from the distributor.

FAQs

For more information, please see our FAQ.

Is it compatible with my Honda?

The LOBOO installation manual lists seven motorcycles: CB500X and CB500F from 2019, CB400X and CB400F from 2021, NX400 and NX500 from 2024, and CB500 Super Four from 2026.

It is the most versatile plate in the range because this family of Honda twin-cylinder motorcycles shares the same kickstand foot. If your motorcycle is not listed, contact us before ordering.

Is it the CB650R or the CB650F?

The sources do not agree here, and we prefer to say so. The assembly manual, which is the most reliable source, does not mention any CB650; the manufacturer’s website adds the CB650F in one place, while the Italian distributor’s price list instead cites the CB650R.

We publish only the seven motorcycles listed in the manual. If you have a CB650, write to us before ordering: we will ask the distributor for confirmation rather than risk making you deal with a return.

How much does the support surface really increase?

The manufacturer claims a 130% increase compared with the original stand. This is the figure that matters most for an accessory like this: the same motorcycle weight distributed over more than twice the surface area means much lower pressure per square centimetre.

Do I need to remove the foot of the original kickstand?

No. The stock foot stays in place, enclosed between the base and the plate cover, which are tightened with three screws. No drilling or permanent modifications: if you resell it, you can return it to its original state in just a few minutes.

What tool is needed, and what torque should the screws be tightened to?

A 3 mm Allen key, included in the package along with the three M5×10 screws and a single-use sachet of threadlocker. The torque specified in the manual is 4 N·m.

Attention: on almost all other LOBOO part numbers, the torque is 5 N·m; here it is 4. If you have already installed a LOBOO plate on another motorcycle, do not rely on memory.

What’s in the package?

The manual lists five items: the support base, the top cover, three M5×10 screws, a 3 mm Allen key, and a single-use tube of threadlocker. The box also contains the assembly manual in eight languages.

What material is it made of, and how much does it weigh?

For this code, the manufacturer does not publish a specifications sheet, so neither the material, weight, nor dimensions are stated. We do not estimate them.

The only thing LOBOO states about the construction is CNC machining. If you need the weight or overall dimensions before ordering, write to us and we will verify them with the distributor.

Do anti-slip grooves really work?

They are needed for something other than sinking: lateral sliding. A wide but smooth plate distributes weight well, but on gravel, wet grass, or sloping concrete, it can slip.

LOBOO adds grooves to the sides and bottom of the base specifically to grip the supporting surface.

Does it make sense on a city bike like the CB500F?

Yes, and for an often-overlooked reason: the most common yielding surface in the city isn’t dirt but asphalt softened by the summer sun, where the original foot sinks in and the motorcycle slowly leans over.

On firm asphalt and in the shade, the plate doesn’t add much, except for providing more stable support on uneven surfaces.

Is it an original LOBOO product?

Yes: we sell exclusively genuine, brand-new LOBOO products in the manufacturer’s original packaging, with the assembly manual included in eight languages.

How is shipping handled, and can I return it?

Tracked shipping throughout Italy, free for orders over 100 euros; in Europe, it is free for orders over 250 euros.

You have 14 days from receipt of the last item in your order to request a return, in accordance with the conditions in the returns and refunds policy. The product must be returned intact and in its original packaging.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: all LOBOO products sold on Endurrad are covered by the 24-month statutory consumer warranty. In the event of a lack of conformity, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
