The LOBOO JP661B side case racks for KOVE 800 X are the foundation of the luggage system: steel construction, mounting on the fastening points provided by the manufacturer, with no adapter brackets required.

They accommodate both aluminum and semi-rigid cases, so your choice is not tied to purchasing the rack.

  • WANDERER semi-rigid cases — BCB4030TBK, 40+30 liters

The top case requires the JPT661W top-case plate, sold separately: the plate and racks are complementary and together complete the system.

How does it work, in detail?

The JP661B frames are compatible with both the black or silver aluminum P35L+P30R PIKE TRACKER panniers and the 40+30-liter semi-rigid WANDERER panniers. The choice of pannier type is not tied to the purchase of the frame.

These frames fit the PIKE TRACKER 35+30: 35 liters on the left, 30 on the right. It’s not a cost-cutting compromise; it’s the exhaust outlet. The right case has a recess that clears it, visible in the photo alongside.

The alternative would be to widen both sides to equalize the volumes, ending up with a motorcycle ten centimeters wider just to gain five liters. This way, the profile stays compact, and you can really feel the difference in tight passages or traffic.

The only thing to remember is the orientation: the bulkier luggage goes on the left. The same frames also support the WANDERER 40+30 semi-rigid cases and the ALPS bags.

The JP661B accepts both the P35L+P30R aluminum PIKE TRACKER panniers and the 40+30-liter semi-rigid WANDERER panniers.

Buying the frame first keeps your options open: you can change the type of pannier over the years without rebuilding the structure.

The manufacturer specifies a maximum load for each side case: this includes the case and everything you put inside it.

It is the limit that really matters, more than the capacity in liters.

After the first 100–200 km, the structure settles: checking the fasteners is the most useful maintenance you can perform.

With off-road use, repeat it periodically: vibrations on uneven terrain put more strain on the fasteners than miles on asphalt.

The price list refers to the CFMOTO 800 X—is it the same thing?

No, and it is a transcription error from the outset. The manufacturer's manual lists the KOVE 800X from 2023, and this frame is designed for that motorcycle.

If you are looking for a frame for a CFMOTO 800MT or 800MT-X, they have different codes, which you can find on Endurrad on the respective pages.

Which top cases can I mount?

The aluminum PIKE TRACKER in the combination of 35 liters on the left and 30 on the right, in black or silver: the right one is narrower at the bottom to clear the exhaust, so the sides cannot be swapped.

Alternatively, the semi-rigid WANDERER bags, which attach to any frame with an 18 mm tube. The bags are not included.

Are suitcases included in the price?

No: this page sells the pair of frames, which is the part intended for the motorcycle. The cases are selected separately, which is why the frame only needs to be installed once: you can change the type of case over the years without redoing the work.

Can I also add the top-case mounting plate?

Yes: the JPT661W top-case plate is available for the KOVE 800X as a separate item with its own part number, already listed in the Endurrad catalog. The side frame remains the same.

Why are there an odd number of screws in the box?

Because the two sides do not use the same parts. The parts list specifies one M8×25 bolt, two M8×30 bolts, one M8×50 bolt, and a single 5 mm spacer: this is not a packaging error.

It is best to follow the installation view in the manual rather than assembling symmetrically, because each side has its own combination.

What torque should the screws be tightened to?

The manual specifies a single value: 20 N·m for all M8 screws in the kit, in the four included lengths. A torque wrench is required but not included.

Do you need to drill into or modify the motorcycle?

The manual does not specify any drilling: the frame is secured to the existing mounting points. However, it requires all parts and fasteners removed from the motorcycle to be reinstalled according to the manufacturer’s torque specifications and instructions.

Are the hardware and tools included?

Yes. The bill of materials contains eleven items: the two frame halves, the crossbar, two types of spacer, four lengths of M8 screw, eight washers, and the service tool.

The only tool you need to have is a torque wrench.

What material is the frame made of?

The manual for this code does not state this, and we prefer to tell you rather than choose a material ourselves.

The PIKE TRACKER series parameter sheet lists stainless steel or aluminum alloy frames, but this is a range-wide specification. If you need the precise specification for this code, ask us and we will verify it with the manufacturer.

How much weight can I load on each side?

The frame manual does not specify a load limit. The LOBOO aluminum luggage manual does, recommending that no more than 10 kg be loaded in each side case and 5 kg in the top case.

The stated reason is vibration while riding: this is a usage limit, not a breaking load. In any case, the motorcycle manufacturer's maximum total load specified in the registration document must also be observed.

Is the assembly manual in Italian?

Yes. The LOBOO manual is published in eight languages, including Italian, with an illustrated, part-by-part bill of materials and a numbered installation view. The PDF can be downloaded from this page.

Is the product covered by a warranty?

Yes: the 24-month statutory warranty of conformity provided for by the Consumer Code applies. In the event of a defect, we will handle the claim with the manufacturer.
