Description D7 PRO auxiliary light kit with engine guard collars and control unit for Ducati DesertX

Code DNL22KIT002C — DENALI code DNL.22.KIT.002C

The flagship package with D7 PRO dual-circuit auxiliary lights and articulated clamps that secure them to the crash bars: two lights in a single housing, with an amber central circuit and a white outer circuit controlled separately.

The configuration designed by DENALI splits the right and left amber circuits so they flash in sync with the original turn signals, while the outer white circuit works with the high beams at the intensity you choose. It uses three of the four circuits on the controller: one remains available for a horn or brake light.

Kit includes: 2× D7 PRO auxiliary lights with X-Lens system (DNLD7P050), 1× articulated clamps for 21 to 29 mm bars (LAH0010300B), 1× CANsmart GEN II controller for DesertX and Multistrada V4 (DNLWHS24800), 2× 137 cm wiring extensions (DNLWHS059).

Stated compatibility: Ducati DesertX from 2022 and Multistrada V4 from 2021.

Why choose it

Who is it recommended for

How does it work, in detail?

Two lights within a single body

Two lights within a single body

The D7 PRO has two independent circuits in the same spotlight: the central amber or yellow one and the outer white one. They do not have to work together, and that is what changes what you can make it do compared with a traditional spotlight.

They flash with the turn signals

They flash with the turn signals

The DENALI setup keeps the right and left amber circuits separate and makes them flash in sync with the original turn signals, while the outer white light follows the high beams. It uses three of the four controller circuits: one remains available for a horn or brake light.

The articulated clamps grip bars from 21 to 29 mm and can be adjusted with the kit installed, so aiming can be done while stationary with the beam on. That is also why the same kit fits both the DesertX and the Multistrada V4: it does not depend on the front end, but on the engine guard.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

Do you already need to have a paramotor?

Yes. The included clamps attach to a tubular bar 21 to 29 mm in diameter, typically the engine guard. If your DesertX or Multistrada doesn't have one, a specific front mount is required instead of the clamps: write to us and we'll tell you which one.

What does it mean when the spotlights flash with the turn signals?

The amber circuit of the right spotlight and that of the left spotlight are connected to separate circuits in the control unit, and the control unit makes them flash together with the corresponding turn signal. In practice, the spotlights also provide side visibility when turning, in addition to serving as high-beam lights.

Is there any room left on the control unit for anything else?

Yes. The configuration with the split amber circuits uses three of the four, leaving one free 10 A circuit: enough for a SoundBomb horn or a B6 brake light, if you decide to add them later.
