Weatherproof three-position switch: full intensity, half intensity, and off. This lets you run the lights at half power during the day to remain visible, then turn them up to maximum only when you really need to.

It's also the solution for motorcycles with LED headlights where the high-beam switch can't activate the DataDim controller: you control the switching yourself here.

If all you need is on and off, there's the two-position version: code DNLWHS11100.

Plan B for motorcycles with LED headlights

On many motorcycles with LED headlights, the high-beam control cannot activate the DataDim controller, leaving the automatic dual-intensity feature merely theoretical. With this switch, you control the changeover yourself: full, half, or off, selected manually whenever needed.

Which switch do I need?

If you only need to turn the spotlights on and off, choose the two-position one. If you also want to switch between full and half brightness, choose the three-position one: it is also the solution to use on motorcycles with an LED headlight where the high-beam control cannot activate the DataDim controller.

Does it work on my motorcycle?

There is one case in which it does not work: some motorcycles with LED headlights control the high beam by switching the ground instead of the positive, and that signal does not activate the DataDim. In that case, use a three-position switch to manually switch between the two levels. If you don't know how your motorcycle is wired, write to us.
