Description Cruise control for Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, 800 and 800 SE
The throttle stays where you leave it, so your right hand can rest. This mechanical cruise control for the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, 800, and 800 SE replaces the right handlebar end weight: as you open the throttle, tighten the ring with your little finger and the grip maintains the selected opening. No electronics, no wiring, and no modifications to the motorcycle.

How it works
The knurled ring screws onto the bar end weight and brakes the rotation of the throttle grip. When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening; it is not a speed regulator: the motorcycle slows down uphill, accelerates downhill, and does not disengage automatically when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand even when the device is engaged.
What you receive and how to install it
The package includes: Kaoko body with friction ring, thrust washer 134, and a 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right bar end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm key. The manufacturer's instructions can be downloaded from the product page.
All models are available in the Kaoko cruise control range.
