Description Cruise control for Suzuki V-Strom 650, DR650 and DR-Z400 without handguards
The throttle stays where you leave it, while your right hand rests. This mechanical cruise control for Suzuki V-Strom 650, DR650 and DR-Z400 without handguards replaces the right handlebar counterweight: as you open the throttle, tighten the ring with your little finger and the grip maintains the selected opening. No electronics, no wiring, no modifications to the motorcycle.

Not compatible with handguards. On some models, the throttle control is secured with a pin. Does your setup differ from those listed? Tell us the model and year before ordering.
How it works
The knurled ring screws onto the counterweight and slows the rotation of the throttle grip. When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening; it is not a speed regulator: the motorcycle slows down uphill, accelerates downhill, and the device does not disengage automatically when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand, even when the device is engaged.
What you receive and how to install it
The package includes: a universal Kaoko expanding counterweight with friction ring, thrust washer, and 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right counterweight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring's resistance with the 2 mm key. The manufacturer's instructions can be downloaded from the product page.
All models are in the Kaoko cruise control range.
