Description 2-way waterproof male connector DNLWHS051

Code DNLWHS051 — DENALI code DNL.WHS.051

Sealed 2-way male connector, sold individually: useful when you are making a custom wiring harness and are missing a part, or when you need to replace a damaged connector without buying the entire set again.

The terminals must be crimped with a dimple crimping tool, sold separately.

Why choose it

How does it work, in detail?

  • The single piece for completing a custom wiring harness.

FAQs

For more information, see our FAQ of frequently asked questions.

Do you need a special tool?

Yes, if you want it to last. The terminals must be crimped with a dimple crimper, which closes them evenly around the copper and insulation: a generic crimper deforms them, and the connection loosens with vibration. You’ll find the dedicated crimper in the catalog.

Why not use standard faston connectors?

Because on a motorcycle, the connection is exposed. Water, salt, and vibrations get into the terminal, corrode it, and sooner or later the light starts acting up for no apparent reason. Waterproof connectors have seals around the housing and each individual wire, and stay dry even after pressure washing.
