The control unit that uses your BMW's CANbus to control up to four accessories from the Wonder Wheel, without adding handlebar switches or loose relays under the seat. It plugs into the original connectors: nothing needs to be cut or drilled.

Four circuits rated at 10 A continuous each, 30 A total, preconfigured for two sets of DENALI auxiliary lights, a SoundBomb horn, and the B6 brake light—but each can be reconfigured for any accessory within that limit. The CANsmart Accessory Manager software unlocks dozens of adjustments, including heated gear control: five levels on the K 1600, three on the F 900 XR, F 850, and F 750 GS.

Compatible motorcycles: K 1600 GT and GTL 2011–2025, K 1600 B and Grand America, S 1000 XR from 2015, F 900 XR from 2020, F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure 2019–2023, F 750 GS 2019–2023, F 800 GS and F 900 GS from 2024, R 18 from 2021.

For the R 1250 GS and R 1200 LC, use code DNLWHS11602; for the R 1300 GS, use DNLWHS25900.

Who is it recommended for

A chi allestisce una K 1600, una S 1000 XR o una F 850 e F 750 GS con più di un accessorio elettrico. Sulle gran turismo ha un valore aggiunto in più: la gestione dell'abbigliamento riscaldato a cinque livelli, che su un viaggio lungo si usa davvero.

Se metti solo una coppia di faretti, un cablaggio con interruttore costa molto meno. E se la tua moto non è in elenco: R 1250 GS e R 1200 LC usano il DNLWHS11602, la R 1300 GS il DNLWHS25900.

The control unit connects to the motorcycle’s CAN bus and provides four circuits for accessories. From then on, auxiliary lights, the horn, and the brake light can be switched on, switched off, and adjusted using the BMW Wonder Wheel, with no additional switches on the handlebar and no loose relays under the seat.

By connecting the control unit to the computer with the included micro USB cable, the CANsmart Accessory Manager software opens up dozens of settings: flashing with the high beams, strobing with the horn, automatic shutoff with the turn signals, an electronic fuse for each circuit, five-level heated clothing control, and activation only when the engine is running.

Is it compatible with my BMW?

This control unit covers the K 1600 GT and GTL 2011–2025, K 1600 B and Grand America, S 1000 XR from 2015, F 900 XR from 2020, F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure 2019–2023, F 750 GS 2019–2023, F 800 GS and F 900 GS from 2024, and R 18 from 2021. For the R 1250 GS and R 1200 LC, code DNLWHS11602 is required; for the R 1300 GS, use DNLWHS25900.

What’s the difference between GEN I and GEN II?

This is the GEN II, with more available current and more settings. DENALI stopped developing new features for GEN I devices in February 2024: if you find a cheaper GEN I controller out there, be aware that it no longer receives updates.

Do you need to know how to work on the electrical system?

No. The control unit plugs into the motorcycle’s original connectors: nothing needs to be cut or drilled. The part requiring the most attention is reaching the connection point, which is located differently on each model: the official DENALI manual shows it step by step.

Can I connect non-DENALI accessories to it?

Yes. The four circuits come preconfigured for DENALI accessories, but each can be reconfigured through the software and supports 10 A continuously: you can connect a USB socket, GPS, dashcam, heated grips, or any other accessory within that limit.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch.
