Pair of adapters connecting the T3 pods to the original turn-signal wiring of the Africa Twin CRF1100L from 2020 to 2022. They plug inline into the factory connector: no cut wires, no splicing.

If you are fitting the front section, note that this motorcycle's original wiring does not support white daytime running lights: with the DNLWHS21100 front adapter, the T3 pods remain illuminated in amber and flash with the turn signals.

No cut wires means that the day you remove the T3s, the Africa Twin returns to its original connectors, with no splices left behind. It matters if the bike is still under warranty or if you sell it someday, and it also matters beforehand: every extra branch behind the windscreen is another point where water can get in.

Come si monta

Istruzioni complete e note di sicurezza

A cosa serve. Collega i pod T3 ai connettori delle frecce originali dell'Africa Twin senza derivare nulla dall'impianto. Senza adattatore i pod si montano con i connettori Posi-Tap, riconoscendo prima ogni filo con il tester.

Come si collega. Si stacca il connettore originale della freccia, si inserisce l'adattatore in linea e si ricollega, poi si innesta il pod. Nessun filo tagliato: il montaggio resta reversibile.

Cosa resta da verificare. L'adattatore porta i segnali, non regola la frequenza di lampeggio. Se le frecce lampeggiano più in fretta dopo il montaggio, servono le resistenze antilampeggio nella versione adatta alle frecce originali, da 10 W o da 21 W.

Prima di richiudere. Verifica che i cavi abbiano gioco con il codone rimontato e a sospensioni compresse.

No: in that case, the pods connect to the control unit using the dedicated CANsmart adapter, part number DNLWHS13400. This adapter is used when the T3s operate directly on the motorcycle’s original wiring system, without a control unit.
