19mm Heavy-Duty Tubular
While most manufacturers stop at 18mm, Westwind raises the bar by using 19mm diameter steel tubes. This extra millimeter translates into significantly increased structural rigidity, essential for a bike as powerful as the 1290. The reinforced structure prevents flex under load and offers excellent protection for the exhaust and rear side panels in the event of a crash.
Tailor-Made Engineering for the KTM 1290 Adventure
The KTM 1290ADV Luggage Rack Set was developed in-house to integrate seamlessly with the bike's muscular lines and original mounting points. The rectangular frame design ("Hoop") provides a large contact surface (330mm x 220mm) that stabilizes the panniers, keeping the center of gravity as low and centered as possible to avoid compromising the bike's dynamic handling.
Universal Compatibility for Soft and Hard Luggage
Thanks to their robust, standardized design, these frames are the ideal base for any cargo system. They're perfect for Westwind technical soft bags (Hussar or Ranger Wilds series), offering the necessary attachment points for straps, but they can also accommodate hard aluminum cases using common "puck" adapters (compatible with 18-19mm tubulars). Whether you prefer the lightweight feel of fabric or the security of aluminum, these frames are ready for anything.

The bag is of excellent quality and comes with all the necessary straps and a shoulder strap. The two methods of attaching it to the motorcycle are well designed and offer a range of options. I will also buy the larger model.
I saw the Endurrad ad on Facebook and immediately set about getting Loboo inflatable bags for my motorcycle...... But due to a technical error, I entered the wrong information on the order, which had already been shipped.
