The CFMOTO 450MT was born to explore, but rough terrain is unforgiving. The CF 450MT (Ibex450) Engine Guard from Westwind Moto is the essential armor that separates the heart of your bike from sharp rocks and hidden logs. By replacing the fragile stock cover with an aerospace-grade aluminum "Skid Plate," you ensure the integrity of the engine block, oil filter, and vulnerable exhaust pipes, allowing you to tackle the most technical sections with complete peace of mind.
Full Under-Sump and Exhaust Shield
The wraparound design of this skid plate is engineered to provide maximum coverage. It protects the entire lower portion of the engine and extends laterally and frontally to shield the exhaust manifolds and catalytic converter, which are exposed to impacts on the 450MT. The contoured shape reduces the risk of snagging on obstacles, allowing the bike to slide over rocks and steps (a "skid effect").
4mm High Strength Aluminum
Built to withstand abuse, the plate is made from 4mm thick aluminum sheet, laser-cut and CNC-bent. This material offers the perfect balance between impact resistance and light weight, avoiding unnecessary weight on the bike. The finish (available in Black or Silver depending on stock) is resistant to corrosion and deep scratches typical of enduro use.
Anchoring to the Frame (Not to the Engine)
A good skid plate should absorb impact, not transfer it to the engine block. The Westwind mounting system anchors securely to the structural points of the Ibex 450's frame, isolating the engine case from mechanical shock. The kit includes steel reinforcement brackets that ensure stability even after violent impacts.
Optimized Airflow
Strategically placed vents on the front ensure a constant flow of air to the engine and exhaust, preventing overheating even during slow riding on mule tracks. Furthermore, the design allows for immediate drainage of mud and water, making it easier to clean the bike after each ride.

I installed the JADO S6 on my BMW GS (non-"dedicated" version), and although I don't use the BMW base, the display and features are still top notch. The bag is of excellent quality and comes with all the necessary straps and a shoulder strap. The two methods of attaching it to the motorcycle are well designed and offer a range of options. I will also buy the larger model.
I saw the Endurrad ad on Facebook and immediately set about getting Loboo inflatable bags for my motorcycle...... But due to a technical error, I entered the wrong information on the order, which had already been shipped.
