When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and returns to its closed position by itself. It locks the throttle opening, not the speed: the motorcycle slows down uphill, accelerates downhill, and the device does not disengage by itself when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand, even when the device is engaged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat you receive and how to install it\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe package includes: Kaoko body with friction ring, 025 thrust washer, M6 × 65 mm countersunk screw, and 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right bar-end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm key.
