When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening, not the speed: the motorcycle slows down uphill, accelerates downhill, and does not disengage automatically when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand, even with the device engaged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat you receive and how to install it\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe package includes: Kaoko bar-end weight with friction ring, thrust washers 100 and 134, threaded insert, aluminium spacer, and 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right bar-end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm key.
