When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening; it is not a speed regulator: the motorcycle slows uphill, accelerates downhill, and the device does not disengage by itself when you brake. Remove the original right bar end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm Allen key.
