When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip moves freely again and returns to the closed position on its own. It locks the throttle opening; it is not a speed regulator: the motorcycle slows uphill, accelerates downhill, and does not disengage automatically when you brake. Remove the original right handlebar weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm key.
