When tightened, it holds the throttle at the selected opening; when loosened, the grip is free again and closes by itself. It locks the throttle opening, not the speed: the motorcycle slows uphill, accelerates downhill, and the device does not disengage automatically when you brake. You can always open and close the throttle by hand, even when the device is engaged.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat you receive and how to install it\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe package includes: Kaoko bar-end weight with friction ring, thrust washer, and a 2 mm Allen key. Remove the original right bar-end weight, install the Kaoko one, and adjust the ring resistance with the 2 mm key.
